Plzeňský Prazdroj chose EDI ORION

Plzeňský Prazdroj, a company that in terms of its volume of communication represents the biggest supplier to the domestic retail sector, has joined the ranks of approximately twenty companies that operate in the beer production process and that use the EDI Orion service for their electronic data interchange of business information based on the principles of software as a service (SaaS).

Prazdroj has chosen EDI Orion to provide the platform for its electronic communication in a selecting procedure this April. The supplier of this comprehensive EDI solution will be CCV Information systems.

The world-known beer producer has joint the thousand companies that already make good use of the EDI Orion service, such as breweries Bernard, Krakonoš, City Brewery Havlíčkův Brod, Svijany, the seven brands of the K Brewery Trade group and newly, since April, the City Brewery Polička.

EDI Orion includes all documentation for commercial relations, such as orders, invoices, bills of delivery, pricelists and many more. For beer producers, the solution brings much more than a mere platform for electronic data interchange and global compatibility, amongst other things it allows them to expand their business cooperation with new business partners without the need for any further expenses.
