On the occasion of the Day of wine in the Czech Republic at the 13th
international fair of beverages and gastronomy Víno&Destiláty, which took
place from the 27th April 2010 at the Prague exhibition centre in Holešovice,
the Ministry for Agriculture of the Czech Republic will present the portal
www.puvodvina.cz (or www.zatridenivina.cz). The website allows all wine
consumers to verify the quality and origins of classed domestic wines. It is
the very first such a project of customer protection within European Union. The
Ministry for Agriculture cooperates on the project of wine classification with
the technological supplier of Vineyard registries – CCV Information

Domestic

quality of wine from Moravia and Bohemia. This is largely due to
information technologies that help preventing wine forgery and importing
low quality wine from abroad. The use of the Vineyard registry, which
is the technological supplier of the customer and wine quality and
origins protection, has increased significantly in the last year,
together with the increase in the quality of Bohemian and Moravian wine.
The number of electronic submission has increased fourfold as compared

in the winegrowers' education at the press conference at the VINEX fair

hectolitres of wine, the number of electronic submission has increased
twelve times as compared to last year
Domestic wine-growers and
traders have electronically claimed 649.622
hectolitres of wine, whereas only a fourth of the stock was claimed
using paper. The total number of domestic wine stock has yet to be
published, but it is already sure that it will be higher than all
predictions for this year's domestic wine production. The data was
evaluated based on the current results of wine stock claims submitted
before the legal deadline. The electronic submission proved sucessful,
as it was used by twelve times as many wine-growers as last year, on the
other hand traditional submission using paper has diminished by 48%. More*

resent the recession through investment into technological advantage

the time of economic crisis, food processing companies, similarly to
logistics operators, have been mostly lowering running costs. The area
that has on the other hand been least limited due to the crisis is

considered one of the most efficient ones, as only a tenth of all
approached companies has expressed the intention to lower this type of
investment, whereas 41% from the logistics domain and 22% from the food

submission of compulsory statements and notifications to e.f. wine-,

experienced a substantial annual increase of usage. On the top of the
chart of usage growth are fruit-growers and orchard-men, whose numbers
have increased three-fold since 2007 in terms of electronic

information technologies this year, 25%of them is planning to increase
those expenses even at the time of economic recession

into information techologies is considered by the Czech producers of
building materials as beneficial and will not therefore be substantially

companies is planning to maintain the level of investment into IT in the
