Václav Pinkava is the CCV Information systems' new Executive manager

Brno, 13th April 2010 – CCV Information systems has a new executive manager – Václav Pinkava. He came to join the management team of one of the prominent Czech Information systems suppliers from the Vltava Labe Press, where he occupied the position of a CIO and corporate director. His new position gives him responsibility over strategic and operational management of the whole company and its further development both on the Czech market and abroad.

His management is also meant to create a unifying 'roof' over the company's individual divisions (CCV Business Solutions, CCV eBusiness, CCV eGovernment). "Appointment of Václav Pinkava into the Executive manager position strengthens our experienced managerial team, which we trust to fulfil the expectations and needs of our clients. It is no coincidence that this year, the total number of satisfied customers has surpassed eight hundred. We hope that the choice of the new Executive manager will ameliorate the organisation's marketing and service models to encourage further development and gain new customers. Our company, whose rate of growth has had two digits for the last five years, has an ambition to retain the position of one of the most sought-after suppliers in certain sectors, largely due to our reliable services and knowledge of our own people." says Dalibor Damborský, head of the company.

Václav Pinkava appreciates the challenge: "I have made a varied and successful experience working for the ICT in different companies, large and small, users and providers, in the Czech Republic and abroad, so I believe I can make a comparison. CCV Information systems has excellent predispositions to further expand its field of activity and above all continue increasing its customers' satisfaction. We have a strong portfolio of solutions and a team of competent, determined people. My task is to maximise this potential."

Václav Pinkava (52) has a rich, professional experience working in the ICT sector. Before joining the CCV Information systems, he had been working for more than 4 years as a CIO and corporate director in Vltava Labe Press, which he accepted after leaving the position of IT ČR/SR and CEE IT Infrastructure Manager at Unilever. He has also occupied managerial, marketing, implementation and development positions at many domestic and British companies, including 6 years of work for the British Post.
Václav Pinkava grew up in the United Kingdom and is an Oxford University graduate. In 2007 he was awarded the title of CIO of the year 2007 in the commercial sphere, it is an award given by the magazine Business World.
In his free time Mr. Pinkava is busy taking care of the 6 members of his family, painting, music, poetry and its translation. His other hobbies also include the blitz chess.
